Good Afternoon ECEC Families,
 
We have reached our final month of the school year!  We have all learned and grown so much and it’s been wonderful to watch 😊 

Next week (May 4-8) is Teacher Appreciation Week and I would like to take a moment to thank all of the amazing educators we have here at the ECEC.  I see all of the hard work and love that they put into their classrooms and into teaching your children.  We truly have the BEST teachers.  Hopefully you get the opportunity to tell your teachers how much you appreciate them!

A Few Reminders:

• Tuition (if applicable) is now DUE (unless arrangements have been made with me).   Please check your records to be sure that you are up to date with tuition payments.  Email with any questions/concerns.
• Classroom doors open at 9:00 am and 12:30 pm.  If you arrive early, please be respectful of items outside of classrooms and in the foyer.  
• Please be mindful of pick-up times. Our teachers have a very limited amount of time between classes.  Please be prompt! Pick up time is from 11:15-11:30 am and 2:45-3:00 pm. All children need to be picked up by 11:30 am for morning classes and 3:00 pm for afternoon classes.  Be sure to share this information with anyone that picks up your child.

End of Year Events:

• Children attending the 4-5 year old classes (Green - MWF am, Yellow, and Blue Rooms) will be having individual class Art Shows/Open Houses in May.  Please watch for more specific information from your classroom teachers!
• Children currently attending our 3-4 year old classes (Red Room and Green Room - T Th am) will bring home their art projects in a portfolio, that have been collected throughout the year, during the last few weeks of school.

 
Looking Ahead:

• NO SCHOOL:  Monday May 25th (Memorial Day)
• Last Days of School:  Wednesday May 27th for MWF am and MW pm classes.

                                                 Thursday May28th for all T Th and M-TH classes.
 
The ECEC OFFICE will be closed from June 1st until mid-August 2026.  Please be aware that all needs, tuition payments, inquiries, etc. must be submitted by noon on May 29th.  Parents of registered/confirmed students for the 2026-2027 school year will receive an email with more information in mid-August.  The first day of school will be Monday August 31st/Tuesday September 1st depending on the class you registered for.
 
Registration for 2026-2027 is still underway, with limited openings available for both 3 and 4 year old children. Please share this information with friends and neighbors! Send an email to Preschool Coordinator Kristin Millet if you have any questions. kmillet@murrayschools.org
 
The teachers and staff here at the Early Childhood Education Center would like to THANK YOU for sharing your wonderful children with us!  We love teaching and could not do it without your continued support.  We hope you have enjoyed your time here as well. Thank you for an AMAZING school year!
