April ECEC Newsletter

Good afternoon ECEC families!

We hope you all enjoyed your spring break and are as excited as we are to come back and finish up the last 2 months of school. 😊 

End of Year Events:

  • Children attending the 4-5 year old classes (Green - MWF am, Yellow, and Blue Rooms) will be having individual class Art Shows/Open Houses in May.  Please watch for more specific information from your classroom teachers!
  • Children currently attending our 3-4 year old classes (Red Room and Green Room - T Th am) will bring home their art projects in a portfolio, that have been collected throughout the year, during the last few weeks of school.


A Few Reminders:

  • Tuition (if applicable) is due the first week of each month unless arrangements have been made with me.  Please check your records to be sure that you are up to date with tuition payments.   Email with any questions/concerns.
  • Parking:  All parking should be in the parking lot across the street (unless you have a parking permit from the office).  Even in inclement weather!  
    • Please keep your children with you at all times while using the crosswalks and entering and exiting the building.  
  • Please be mindful of the weather and be sure to send a jacket or coat to school with your child.  We will try to spend our Large Motor time on the playground as often as possible.   It’s great practice to put on, remove, and zip/unzip our jackets!  Remember to label your child’s belongings.  Additionally, we highly encourage the use of correct footwear for playing in the woodchips and running around outside.  Flip flops and sandals make climbing and running a challenge.
  • 26-27 ECEC Preschool Classes:  There’s still time to sign up!  If you have not signed up for the 2026-2027 school year, there are still a few openings available.  Please share this information with friends and neighbors! Looking Ahead:

NO SCHOOL:  Monday May 25th (Memorial Day)
Preschool Ends:  Wednesday May 27th  (M/W/F AM & M/W PM classes)
                              Thursday May 28th  (T/TH AM & PM, M-TH AM & PM classes)
